The Philippine Azkals was hailed recently because they finished third in the latest AFC Challenge Cup. Once again The Azkals team became a big inspiration to many not only because of winning third in the said competition but also because they are also one of reasons why the rebirth of people’s attention to the popular game. One of the team's solid supporter Vitamilk is the presentor of the Azkals-Malaysia match held at the Rizal Memorial football stadium last month is very proud of what the Azkals have achieved.
Azkals success proves that we Filipinos indeed have a place in the world of sports such as football. The Azkals scored 4-3 against Palestine in the AFC held at the Dasarath Stadium in Kathmandu, Nepal last Monday.
