- Phil scored another goal in the penalty shot. Team Azkals lead, 4-0
- Azkals vs. Sri Lanka 2nd leg match ended with 4-0. Azkals won the game!
- Approximately 20,000 people watched the Azkals LIVE game held at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila
- A lot of Filipino celebrities and politicians such as Chris Tiu, Bubbles Paraiso, Miguel Zubiri, Freddie Webb, Mayor Fred Lim were spotted watching the game LIVE
- Sexy actress Angel Locsin also watched the game LIVE to show support to Phil Younghusband
- Crowd sings "Pinoy Ako" by Orange & Lemons as the 2nd leg match of Azkals vs. Sri Lanka ended with 4-0
- Neil Etheridge got emotional and showed his shirt with a picture of him together with his grandfather. Neil dedicated his game to his grandpa who just passed away. Our deepest sympathy to Neil Etheridge and his family.
- Azkals walked around the stadium while waving the Philippine flag to show their appreciation as the crowd roars and celebrate
- Philippine Azkals will be playing for the 2nd elimination round against Kuwait
